Doctoral students enrolled in the ES Doctoral School must validate 120 hours of additional training in their thesis course (approximately 40 hours per year), including approximately 30 hours of training preparing for future professional integration, which can be found in the “Career pursuit” or “Management & entrepreneurship” or “Knowledge & teaching tools” sections of the catalog of transversal training courses of the doctoral college (PDF).

Since 2018-2019, ALL doctoral students must follow at least at least 9 hours of training during the duration of their doctorate (decree of May 25, 2016 setting the national training framework and the procedures leading to issuance of the national doctoral degree); even if you benefit from a partial or total exemption (request to be made in writing to the ED: JCE doctoral student, employee, CIFRE allowance, joint supervision thesis, research center outside Dijon, absence justified by unavoidable constraints and doctoral contract “more”).
